First confession: I am not a one-man band.
Could any of these projects happened without me? No. But did I have the pleasure of collaborating with some amazing designers, architects, builders, installers, subcontractors, landscapers and all of the hordes of people it takes to build a house? A resounding YES! And I am happy to share contact info if you are particularly enamored with any aspect of one of these projects. I also need to thank my wonderful clients and last but not least, my talented mother! More often than not, our parting words at the airport were about paint colors. Thanks Mom!
Second confession: Maybe photography is not my strength.
I started renovating homes before we even knew there was such a thing as digital photography or Pinterest! I was also not thinking about documenting these transformations; I was just doing them! When I did get a little more savvy and started taking pictures, I thought my photography skills were up to snuff. Well, when you look at truly professional photographs, there is just no comparison. This is fairly obvious in some of these pictures. From now on, I will be sure to call in the expert photographers and let them do what they do best. Lesson learned.
