Think of me as an experienced guide through all the moving parts of a major renovation.
Renovating a whole home is exciting, and it can also feel overwhelming. There are architects, designers, and contractors to coordinate, decisions to make every week, and a daily life to keep running while the house is torn apart around you. I help homeowners make sense of all of it.
As an independent renovation consultant, I work alongside your architect, interior designer, and contractor. My job is to help you understand the process, prepare for each decision, keep the project coordinated, and keep the bigger picture in view. I am not selling you a design or a build. I am on your side.
How I can help you plan
Every project starts with a clear plan. Before anyone draws a line or signs a contract, we talk through what you want from the renovation, what matters most, and what a realistic result looks like. Early renovation planning and project strategy sets the foundation for everything that follows.

Choosing your team and comparing proposals
The right people make a renovation run smoothly. I can help you find and evaluate architect and designer and contractor selection, so you choose partners who fit your project and your way of working.
Once proposals arrive, they can be hard to compare. I help you review and compare contractor proposals line by line, so you understand what is included, what is missing, and what each option truly costs.

Keeping budget and timeline on track
Money and time are the two questions every homeowner asks. I help you work through the renovation budget and timeline together, with honest conversations about what is possible and what trade-offs you may face.

Living through construction
Construction affects your daily life, and that deserves as much attention as the design. I help you plan for living through a renovation: whether you can stay in the home, when you may need to move out, and how long you will be displaced.
If you do need to leave, I help you plan temporary housing during construction. We also decide what needs to be packed, stored, or removed before work begins, and when the home needs to be ready for the crew.

Coordination and decisions
A renovation involves many people and many choices. I coordinate architects, designers, contractors, and consultants so that information flows clearly between them. I help you plan selections and design decisions on a schedule, so choices are made on time and not in a rush.
I also prepare you for project and construction meetings, so you know what to ask and what to expect. When recommendations or changes come up, I help you evaluate them with a clear head. Throughout, I keep information and communication organized so nothing falls through the cracks.

Support through completion
Surprises happen in nearly every renovation. When unexpected conditions appear behind a wall or under a floor, I help you navigate them calmly and quickly, so decisions stay practical and the project keeps moving.
My support does not end when the crew starts. I provide ongoing guidance throughout construction and completion, from the first demolition day to the final walkthrough.

Anticipate, don’t react
Every renovation comes with its own challenges, both within the project itself and in how construction changes your everyday life. You cannot avoid every surprise, but you can prepare for them. My role is to help you anticipate those challenges and approach them thoughtfully, instead of reacting to them when they are already costing you time and money.
